So far, we've done most of the hard work of 1.getting into uni 2. finding somewhere to live, but here is where you join us on our quest of living as a student. And that means - watching us become chefs, cleaners, artists and musicians. (and all the other little things inbetween). Our little happy home is my dream come true and I'm glad I've found someone that loves me just as much as I love him.
The flat needed some tender loving care and attention when we first moved in. But nothing a little paint and cleaning wouldn't solve. Okay, we may have spent £60 on paint pots and £460 on new carpets... money most students don't have BUT oh, so so so worth it! To begin with, most of the living area was brown... and not painted with wall paint? It was peeling off. Hideous wallpaper. City grime caked the windows. The bathroom was grimey and so was the kitchen. The past tenants had left things in the airing cupboard/boiler room and left awful wardrobes, drawers and chairs - cheap as chips. We met the neighbours, they're quiet nice which is a plus!
NOW, it's a PALACE.
Well, almost. We have a few things to still move in, but after going every sunday for a month it's a beauty now!
My course lasts for 3 years so, we should be staying there for the time as long as everything continues to be great.
Sam and I met through friends on a night out, I found out he had a beautiful singing voice and I became smitten with his eyes and his personality - you do the rest ;) After being together a year I knew that I wouldn't be able to go a single day without seeing him. SO, here we are getting an apartment together. Some might say, it's too soon, you're mad blah blah blah. When you know it's right - you know it's right so bore another human with your babble.
